Deck Enclosures:
Convert Your Deck into an All-Season Sunroom

Brady-Built Sunrooms are often a great way to enclose an exterior deck creating year-round usable space. Our all-season sunrooms are custom designed to your specifications and built locally at our facility located in Auburn, MA. Since our sunroom additions are true year-round rooms, they can open directly into your home and usually be heated or cooled with your current system. Adding a sunroom is a great way to enhance the beauty, value and space of your home. Below are just a few examples of traditional exterior wood decks that were transformed into beautiful sunroom additions.

Convert Deck to Sunroom

If you already have a deck in the right location, converting it into a sunroom can be one of the easiest ways to expand your living space. Instead of building a brand new addition from scratch, the existing deck footprint can often serve as the starting point for a fully enclosed room. With the right structural support and foundation, the open deck area can be transformed into a bright, comfortable sunroom with insulated walls, large windows, and a roof that matches your home.

A deck-to-sunroom conversion lets you keep the outdoor views you love while adding the comfort of an indoor space. Homeowners often use these rooms as casual sitting areas, dining spaces, or quiet places to relax with natural light. Because the space becomes protected from wind, rain, insects, and pollen, it quickly becomes one of the most enjoyable rooms in the house throughout the year.

Expand Your Living Space with a Sunroom and Deck

Enhancing your home with both a sunroom and deck provides the perfect balance of indoor comfort and outdoor enjoyment. This thoughtfully designed combination creates a seamless transition between your home’s interior and exterior, adding value, functionality, and versatility.

Key Benefits of a Sunroom and Deck

  1. Maximized Living Area
By adding both an enclosed sunroom and an open-air deck, you increase your home’s usable space. The sunroom offers a climate-controlled retreat, while the deck serves as an ideal area for outdoor relaxation, dining, or entertaining.

  2. All-Season Enjoyment
The sunroom provides an environment that can be enjoyed year-round, regardless of the weather, while the deck offers an ideal setting for warmer months. Together, they create a year-round living space that adapts to changing seasons.

  3. Increased Home Value
This addition is an investment that can significantly increase your home’s market value. A well-designed, functional outdoor area is a highly desirable feature that can appeal to prospective buyers, improving your property’s appeal and resale potential.

  4. Customizable Design
The design possibilities for both the sunroom and deck are nearly endless. You can choose materials, layouts, and finishes that align with your home’s aesthetic. Whether you prefer modern lines or a more traditional look, these elements can be tailored to fit your preferences.
